John Swisher’s next book, coming soon, follows the endearing characters you meet in Two Paths Crossing, to Meteora, Greece. There, Angela and James, find gold that was taken from the Jews during WWII and are quickly launched into another captivating adventure.

Using a skillful combination of historical fact and fiction, this story begins one night during the latter years of WWII on a dock in Kalamata, Greece. Max Merten, a true-life WWII German SS officer, historically solicited $1.2 billion from Jews in Thessaloniki who unsuccessfully tried to buy their way out of being shipped to “labor camps.”

Two German soldiers develop their own scheme after overhearing Max direct a fishing boat captain to a specific location where he is to sink a boat laden with 50 foot lockers of gold and gems. The two soldiers decide to take one foot locker of treasure for themselves and hide it in Poland. While trying to get across Greece, plans are soon disrupted as they encounter the fierce Greek resistance.

Follow Angela and James in this new adventure as their involvement takes readers through a web of interwoven details leading to truth, surprises and justice.
